• If you go with an expedited service, you will receive your child's passport within 3-15 business days depending on your chosen processing option.

If you need your child's passport quickly, please contact us for detailed instructions. All children under age 16 must apply for a passport in person with two parents or guardians present at a US Passport office. Depending on the urgency of your application you will then either bring or mail your child's passport application packet to our Atlanta Passport Office, or submit it directly at the US Passport office.

You cannot apply for a child's passport online. Children under age 16 must apply for a passport in person with two parents or guardians present at a US Passport office. We can help you prepare your child's passport application and ensure it meets all government requirements before you go to a US Passport office. If you wish to apply for a rush service for your child's passport, you will need to bring or mail the application packet sealed by a US passport accepting agent to our office for further expediting.

You can walk-in to our office and we help you prepare the paperwork needed for your child's passport application. If you plan to apply for your child's passport on your own, you will need to make an appointment at a US Passport Office. If you apply for rush processing, you can go to the accepting agent's office (located in a Courthouse or at a post office) without the appointment. The Accepting agent will seal your application and you will need to bring or mail it to our office for further passport expediting.

Atlanta Passport Agency accepts appointments by phone, and those are available several days or weeks ahead. You can call our office at 404-827-0099 for an appointment. If you do not have time to wait for an appointment and need your passport processed urgently, we can make an appointment for you for same-day passport processing at the Atlanta Passport Agency for a fee of $250. We can also handle the process ourselves and renew your passport in 3-15 business days for a fee that depends on the urgency of your situation. In that case you do not need an appointment with the Atlanta Passport Agency.

To apply for an expedited passport processing for a child, you will need to provide Travel Visa Express with the following:

Proof of Citizenship - You must provide ONE of the following:

• Previous U.S. Passport
• Certified Birth Certificate issued by state, county or city (if born in US)
• Certificate of Citizenship or FS-240, DS-1350 (if born outside the US)
• Certificate of Naturalization

Parent Proof of Identity:

• Valid driver's license w/ photograph issued more than 4 months ago (If you do not poses a driver's license or a driver's license that meets the requirements above then you must supply Alternate Proof of Identity)
• Parent(s)/Guardian(s) must submit evidence of their relationship to the minor applicant. (ex: Birth certificate with both parents' names, Adoption Decree with adopting parents' names, Court Order establishing custody/guardianship)

Evidence of Immediate Travel - Must provide a copy of 1 of the following:

• Round trip ticket indicating travel to a foreign country
• Travel Itinerary
• Business traveler’s may submit a business letter if the above is not available
• Please do not include the evidence of immediate travel in the sealed envelope.
• Important: if your departure date is more then 24 days away please talk to our agent first.

DS-11 with 2 barcodes and Authorization form.
Application Form DS-3053 - Download and complete the DS-3053 form
Authorization Form - Print two copies of Authorization from. Complete but do NOT sign the form until you are in front of an Acceptance Agent.
